In the guide below, we show how to use the Gravity Finance IDO Launchpad to take part in the GFI IDO. The process will be similar for future projects that will be available our Launchpad.

For full details on the IDO, see here

GFI IDO Checklist

  1. Have a wallet connected to the Polygon Network (Matic Mainnet). We recommend MetaMask and have made a guide showing how to connect to Polygon.
  2. Have a small amount of Matic in your wallet for Polygon network fees. You can get 0.001 Matic for free from the Matic Faucet, this is enough to cover several Polygon network transactions.
  3. Have wETH (wrapped ETH) in your Polygon Wallet. There are several ways to fund your Polygon wallet;

a) The easiest method is to use the Matic Bridge (our guide) which allows you to bridge assets such as USDC and ETH from Ethereum to Polygon directly. Ethereum network gas fees will apply but this method is easy and fast.

b) For a potentially cheaper method, you can use the Binance Smart Chain and the xPollinate bridge (our guide), however be aware this method is only possible to move stable coins, namely USDT, USDC or DAI so using this method will require an additional step, ie. swapping stable asset to wETH using an exchange such as QuickSwap on the Polygon network.

Ok, final check, got everything you need? A wallet connected to Polygon Network with a little bit of Matic and some wETH so you can join the IDO.

If so, you are ready to join. Check out our video guide below.

Video Guide

In this video guide we show in real time how to take part in the GFI IDO. This video was made during our testing, some minor details (UI layout, fonts etc) may change slightly but the process will remain the same.
